Your valiant commentator battles again the evil kitchen fitter who has now twice cut through live cables and disconnected him...
I think Jonny has missed the most astonishing aspect of this.
A 15 year old girl walks into a police station, and names a 70yr old man who she says molested her. There is a witness (albeit her mum).
The police say "Righto, we have a window in October, we will make an appointment with him then."
This should launch a thousand conspiracy theories - police are afraid to accuse Arabs of crimes, or they have been told not to upset Arabs, or maybe its ok to kiss 15yr old - at least surely someone can give us the line on "They come over here and commit minor sexual offences with our young girls 6 months ago...."
Excellent point, mon brave. Can it really be standard procedure now to interview an sex offender some five months after the alleged assault? As for conspiracy theories, I suggest you kickstart them on your blog.
